Chipotle’s Commitment to the Military Community
Chipotle is committed to creating opportunities for veterans as they transition into civilian careers. The company employs more than 800 veterans across its restaurants and Restaurant Support Centers and has implemented training to help hiring managers attract, assess and retain veterans, military spouses and partners. These efforts include practical interview practices and resources to help managers better understand the transferable skills veterans bring to the workplace.
This year, Chipotle also established the Chipotle Veterans & Allies Network (CVAN), a new employee resource group dedicated to building community, supporting personal and professional growth, and addressing the unique needs of veterans, active-duty service members and military families.
Additionally, since 2021, Chipotle has proudly partnered with Folds of Honor to help provide educational scholarships to the spouses and children of our nation’s fallen or disabled service members and first responders. Through the generosity of its guests and team members, Chipotle has raised more than $2.4 million for Folds of Honor—an incredible impact that reflects its shared commitment to supporting the families of those who serve.
To show support for veterans and the military community, Chipotle has partnered with United Service Organizations (USO) through its Round Up for Real Change program. From Monday, November 9 through Sunday, November 15, guests can round up their total to the next highest dollar amount to donate to the USO, the nation's leading charitable organization in serving active-duty service members and military families. Since launching Round Up for Real Change in 2020, Chipotle guests have helped raise more than $26 million for nonprofit organizations.
