CHIPOTLE BRINGS REAL INGREDIENTS TO CINCO DE MAYO WITH FREE CHIPS AND SIDES

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., April 29, 2026 — Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG) today announced it is celebrating Cinco de Mayo the way fans want: with free chips and sides. On May 5, digital guests can score free Chips and Guacamole or free Chips and Queso Blanco with the purchase of an entrée, available exclusively through the Chipotle app, Chipotle.com and Chipotle.ca using code CINCO26 at checkout.*

Real Ingredients, Real Flavor

Chipotle’s chips and sides are crafted with real ingredients and nothing artificial, bringing bold flavor fans can feel good about, including:

  • Chips: Chipotle’s tortilla chips are made fresh using corn masa flour and are cooked to perfection and seasoned with a dusting of salt and a hint of fresh lime juice. 
  • Guac: Chipotle’s iconic guacamole is hand-mashed throughout the day using just six real ingredients: Hass avocados, freshly diced red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, citrus juice and salt to deliver the fresh taste guests know and love.
  • Queso Blanco: Chipotle’s Queso Blanco features 13 real ingredients, including aged Monterey Jack, white cheddar and a blend of serrano, poblano and chipotle peppers. The result is a creamy, velvety queso with balanced heat and no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives.
